4th Community Event October 2017

On Saturday the 28th October 2017 we had our 4th Community Event this year! Thank you so much to Mayfield Community Club for hosting this event and being so welcoming to all our volunteers, children and families. The event was another great success with us welcoming 138 families and 283 children to our event, with all families finding some lovely items of clothing. The event which proved to be our busiest to date was also made even more enjoyable with the addition of some lovely home baking made and donated by local resident Caroline Allard. The baking went down a treat with everyone and we can't thank Caroline enough for her generosity. The event could only take place with the on going support that we receive from Bishops Move, Edinburgh who spent the day transporting all our lovely clothing to and from the venue, along with being there to give a helping hand on the day!!

This event celebrates the end of a very busy year for us here at The Button Box and we are very excited at what next year will bring!

Please keep the donations coming as we will be continuing to collect throughout the winter period. Once again we thank everyone for their support in our first year and we look forward to seeing everyone at our first event next year!
